My Favorite Quest Name

Ogre Head on a Stick = Party is still my favorite quest name in the game. Last night I took my hunter out to Blade's Edge, and was pleased to note Blizzard's reuse of the ogre-head-on-a-stick graphic for the quest Gorgrom the Dragon-Eater, part of the Massacre at Gruul's Lair/Showdown chain.

The quest line has some really nice loot for characters approaching level 70; I'm going to have to go back out tonight and find a few other people to help finish it so I can get my [Malefactor's Eyepatch].

I'm sure, if I took the time to attempt to remember the oldest quest name that first made me laugh...I could...

but sometimes I lack the patience to search through my "mindthott" (har har).

I'd have to say the first time I did "Outlands Sucks!" I was rather amused.

The 2nd to last portion in that chain I did last night, which entailed digging through Hellboar "poo" after a Felguard dug through the corpse...

enticing? That part was called Shizz Works...

I swear on all that I hold dear in Azeroth, if I see anyone wearing that Tabard, I will shoot them on sight. No offence. LOL

Btw, being a geek and lifetime Star Wars fan, I still like the "Kessel's Run" quest in Bloodmyst Isle near Exodar. Not only is it a great Star Wars reference, but it lets you experience riding a mount at a low level. It rocks.

I also like Toshley's Station in Blades Edge, which is another Star Wars reference.

Uh, Messyah? Before you get too set on that, I should warn you that my guild has 445 characters in it at the moment.

Respect the pink kitty.

That's ok, bullets are cheap. LOL

That's ok. Before we merged two guilds into one, forming "Eternal", our tabard was purple, green and gold, had a frilly border and a chess piece on it. It was horrendous. When we merged, I was voted to be GM and my first duty was to do away with that horrible P.o.S. I think our tabard looks sweet now. I'll put a pic of it on our site when I get home.

How many 70's do you have? I was laughing last night because we had ALL 70s on and one 38 hunter.

Oh, and we have another well-geared guild who wants to merge into ours, so within a month we will be doing 2-3 teams to Kara and a 25-man raid each week. Sweet, huh? I'm stoked.

My favorite quest remains the "Are we there, Yeti?" chain in Winterspring. This of course culminates with flying around and scaring goblins with mechanical yeti.

Hey, I recognize that tabard! =P

Uh oh, Jon and Shelbi are totally onto me.

Messyah, if I'm counting right, we've got 236 lvl 70s, but some of those (like me) are account overlaps...

Also, mechanical yeti are awesome.

I think my favourite quest has to be "Bring Me A Shrubbery!" from Sporeggar.

For those not familiar with Monty Python, it is the quest given by the Knights Who Say "Ni!" in MP & the Holy Grail.

Still makes me laugh.

We have a guild on our server called "Knights who say Ni".

Messyah, which server is that? I want in on that guild!

My server has a guild with a name I laugh at every time I see it. Two-Dollar Horde.
